This event is held during the month of October around Halloween to remind students to practice safer sex during their fall festivities.

To celebrate World AIDS Day in December, Sex Out Loud raises awareness of HIV basics, transmission, stigma, and activism.

HIV is a virus that comes with a variety of implications. Its biological mechanisms result in social problems in addressing its spread, and these social problems result in health disparities throughout the U.S., and especially worldwide. This lecture provides a basic understanding of HIV's biology, followed by three different historical contexts in addressing HIV/AIDS across the world. All of this information comes together to illustrate the importance of getting tested and knowing one's status.
Sexual Health Week
This week in April marks the culmination of celebrating all there is about sexuality. Sex Out Loud invites big name speakers to campus, hosts workshops throughout campus, presents various sexual health topics to the student body, and finishes off with a Sexual Health Fest on Library Mall.
